What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the property postcode, number of bedrooms or rooms, letting type and required completion date.
- Emails and calls: anything you send us when you contact us directly.
- Customer records: if you place an order, the details we need to quote, deliver, install and invoice it.
- Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records basic information such as your IP address and browser type when you visit the site, to keep it secure and working.
How and why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, because you have asked us to before entering into a contract.
- To deliver and install your order and provide aftercare, to perform our contract with you.
- To keep financial and tax records, because the law requires it.
- To run and secure our website, which is in our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission.
Who we share it with
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives quote form submissions. Netlify may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
- Our email provider, and the suppliers, delivery teams and installers who help us fulfil an order. They receive only what they need, such as a delivery address.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to an order for up to 24 months, then delete them. We keep customer and invoice records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. Email info@mypropertyfurnishings.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
